Lady Members have played a fundamental role in the development of the Wanneroo Golf Club since its foundation.  Ladies of all ages share a common goal in promoting the game of golf as well as friendship and comradery.

The ladies at Wanneroo are renowned for their hospitality and their generous support of local charities through fundraising, golf and social events.

All Categories of Membership are available to Ladies at the Wanneroo Golf Club and Ladies Competitions are played on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. The ladies golf calendar includes Club Championships; Foursomes and Individual Handicap Championship; WAGA competitions such as the Silver Spoon; Jubilee Foursomes; International Bowl; Golf Box Challenge & the George Booth Challenge.

The women field teams in both the Metropolitan Pennants and the Northern Division Pennants and there are similar pennant competitions for both senior male and senior female players, though they tend to play fourball matches rather than singles.

Ladies social events include:

  • Pennant Dinner- usually held at the clubhouse at the conclusion of the Metropolitan Pennant season.
  • Championship and Presentation of Trophies – held on the same evening after the final matches or rounds have been played.
  • Invitation Mixed Guest Day
  • Invitation Ladies Guest Day
  • Wanneroo Silver Bronze Day
  • Ladies Open Day
  • Melbourne Cup

Ladies Clinics for both beginners and long term golfers are held throughout the season.


  • Competitions for Lady 9 Hole Members are held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
  • 9 Hole Social Golf can be played any day the course is available outside scheduled fixtures.
  • Guests of 9 Hole Members are welcome to play 9 holes subject to the club rules and payment of green fees.
  • Nine Hole Women Members are eligible to play and invite guests for Twilights Golf events.
  • Women Nine Hole Members may transfer to other playing categories by paying the difference in Nomination Fee and the relevant subscription of the new playing category.
